Paris Wine Walks is about sharing. Sharing personal stories, sharing wine, sharing bread, sharing food.
…is about discovery. Most people have heard of only one vineyard in Paris and very few know anything about 15 centuries of Parisian wine history. It is also about the discovery inherent in tasting – wine tasting of course, but also deliciously fermented breads, cheeses…
…is about conviviality. Walking (or cycling) together in the most beautiful quarters of the city, sharing food and wine brings us closer together and opens the mind and enlivens the spirit.
…is about wine and food. We have a deep and long-lasting respect for those who work the soil to produce real food and real wine, as it is only these that provide real taste.
…is about ‘ivresse’, which might be translated as spiritually uplifting, joyfulness and playfulness, while also evoking ‘enthusiasm’ – to have the god within.
…is about Paris, its history, its architecture, its people, its wine.

What people have said about us
For any natural wine enthusiasts or people interested in learning more about natural wine, this is the experience for you. Not only is Geoffrey an expert in natural wine, but he is extremely passionate about it and good food. Every place we stopped at was different, but the wines were all delicious. At the last stop we were lucky enough to be there when one of the wine makers was there visiting and it was such a lovely special time. Geoffrey is extremely friendly, personable and kind. Couldn’t recommend this experience more! Cortney
What a fabulous experience! Geoffrey is the ultimate host & this tour offered a unique insight into the trendy Belleville area with it’s deep history & viticulture history bought into the current day with all things bio-dynamic & organic. Geoffrey was personable, friendly & fun! A highly recommended tour experience! Campbell
This tour is awesome. I don't typically sign up for tour-y things but read the great reviews and was intrigued. If you're into natural wine in particular, you will absolutely love this. Belleville is a cool neighborhood that I hadn't had a chance to spend much time in even after being in Paris for a few months, and Geoffrey was able to take us all over the neighborhood, introduce us to friends and help us try lots of fantastic wine. He knows not only all of the people in the different Cave a Vins but also a tremendous about the wine itself — the tour is laid back, personable, and genuinely really fun. We had a dinner reservation afterwards, but if we hadn't, we would have stayed and continued drinking wine with the rest of the group! This gives you a chance to see a different side of Paris, meet new people, and learn and drink a lot of amazing natural wine. I plan on reaching out to Geoffrey in the future for other wine recs and tours in Paris and France! Can't recommend highly enough - you will have a blast and learn a ton! Liz
Not only was Geoffrey an obvious expert in wine, but he was also clearly a local who was well-liked by the people we engaged with at each wine stop. My boyfriend and I loooooved this evening of wine drinking and conversing and debating and laughing and eating. This was a complete involvement of the senses. We loved each bottle of wine and we loved each bite of food- but perhaps the best part was all of the wonderful people we got to say hello to. Our particular favorite stop was La cave du Ballon Rouge where we made friends with the owner of the wine shop and had some fantastic wine. We loved walking through Bastille and talking to Geoffrey was easy and enjoyable. Highly recommend this to anyone looking for excellent and trendy wine tasting in a part of Paris that not many venture to! Danielle
My friend and I had an incredible time on Geoffrey's wine tour! Probably our favorite part of our trip to Paris. Not only is he incredibly knowledgeable about wine but he also had great suggestions for other activities/food to check out in Paris. Only thing I wish I could change would be taking his tour on my first day of our trip so he could have given us suggestions on restaurants to check out :) Margaret
This tour was absolutely wonderful! Geoffrey is fantastic - he’s incredibly knowledgeable and really fun to be around. The experience was a perfect combination of history, site seeing and wine tasting. Plus the wine tasting came with a beautiful spread of fruit, meat and cheeses, plus great conversation. I also recommend booking this towards the beginning of your trip so you can get some restaurant recommendations from Geoffrey - he saved me and my girlfriend from an overpriced and overrated dinner plan for her birthday and helped us make a reservation at a much better place. He’s truly the best. Erica
My husband and I had such a fun day with Geoffrey and the group! We walked away feeling like we made new friends for life. We learned not only about the history of wine/ winemaking in this region but also about many other interesting historical aspects of the area. The wine tasting and food pairing was beyond incredible. Some of the best wine and cheeses/meats I have ever had. I find myself back in the states constantly trying to find something even remotely close. This was a great experience that we will never forget! Thanks Geoffrey! Eden
I can’t imagine a better tour than this one. Geoffrey is so incredibly knowledgeable but also very sweet. No question was out of bounds, and Geoffrey had an answer for everything! He is so smart, well traveled, cultured, and has been in Paris 30 years. Pretty much the perfect tour guide. We learned about the beautiful neighborhood of Saint Germaine, then ended the walk with a remarkable meal of delicious wine, bread, cheese, sausage, fruit and veggies - all organic and amazingly tasty. We learned a lot about Paris, wine and the vine growing process. We had a wonderful time chatting with new people and ate the most delicious food of our entire trip. HIGHLY RECOMMEND this walking tour and will send all my friends to Geoffrey if they visit Paris. Daniel
Lovely experience with a good combination of history, food and wine. Geoffrey is a delightful host and guide. Ellen
This was a really beautiful experience and I would recommend it to anyone who is interested in learning more about wine. Geoffrey knows a lot about the winemaking history of Paris and also shared some interesting insights on organic and biodynamic farming. Sharing beautiful cheese, wine, grapes and bread towards the second half of the tour was really lovely. Thanks, Geoffrey. Samantha & Blake
Geoffrey was very knowledgeable about wine and Parisian history!! The tour was very informative and very fun. It was a great way to explore Paris! Would highly recommend this tour! Zoe
Rita
