Wine & Cheese Please!
Wine & Cheese Please!
The ideal marriage
Service Description
Wine & cheese are among the most iconic pairings of all sensual delights. The rich, unctuous lipids of cheeses are subdued by the tannins and the acidity in wine, creating a creamy effect that accentuates the flavours in the wine. The combination is heavenly, especially when the cheeses are properly aged and the wines are alive and selected for their specific complementarity. This intimate wine & cheese experience is both pedagogical - you learn a lot about cheese and perhaps even more about wine - and sensual. The palate is awakened and the senses enlivened. We invite you to linger over the flavours of the cheeses and to truly taste the wines, pausing to identify aromas, the myriad tastes and flavours, and to try to describe the sensations of both. It is also a discovery with a friendly competitive edge as the wines are tasted blind (the labels are hidden). Participants are encouraged to trust their senses to try to identify the grape varietals and the regions from which the wines come. Everything that is included in the tasting is produced organically, biodynamically, naturally. Cheese, wine, and bread are the result of fermentation and so living organisms whose vitality and energy - which translates into taste - are highlighted by sustainable agricultural practices. The experience is also convivial as it is shared by other enthusiasts and designed to encourage participation and exchange. Join us today for one of the most memorable taste experiences nature provides! Please contact us to request a particular date or time if you do not see it scheduled. We look forward to meeting you and sharing some of the best of Paris with you!
