This is part of a series of thematic wine tastings we are hosting at L'Ours et la Vielle Grille winebar bookshop at 9 Rue Larrey, 75005 Paris. Contact us for upcoming dates. The Île-de-France (the region around Paris), was up until two centuries ago, the largest wine producing region in the world. It went into decline for several reasons, but since 2022, has again become a wine producing region, with roughly 30 vineyards producing wine for sale. As production has only just begun, you will be among the avant-garde in discovering these little known domains. The tasting includes 5 wines from different domains, tasted blind to give them their full due. Exquisite (regional) cheeses and rustic fermented breads accompany the tasting.
