PRIVATE, PERSONALISED, EASY

Make the most of your weekends with our wine-weekend-getaways. We look after the details so that all you have to do is get there. Don't have a car? We can also arrange rentals. Our bespoke, privatised, wine-weekend-getaways include privileged access to the nascent vineyards of the Île-de-France (and beyond), while offering cosy accommodations, outstanding dining experiences, and a choice of activities to allow you to be as busy or relaxed as you choose. All you need to do is get there.

CULTURAL ATTRACTIONS

There are endless cultural attractions to complement your weekend getaway. Among these are Giverny, a charming, Monet-shaped village to complement Coteaux de Giverny with quiet streets and riverside walks; nearby, Abbaye de Royaumont and Abbaye de Maubuisson offer contemplative, distinctly “local” monastic atmosphere—ideal for slowing down between tastings. For a high-impact cultural detour, Senlis, Provins, and Montmorency deliver offbeat medieval wandering and panoramic hillside views. The innovative Jardin du Point du Jour is an open-air art museum, and a poem to nature. Or follow the Seine/Oise/Marne corridors for their atmospheric quays and heritage paths, where the vineyards feel woven into a much longer story.

The Île-de-France is one of the richest historical regions in France—and its most compelling discoveries are often the quiet ones. Beyond Paris, a new generation of small, still-under-the-radar vineyards invites you to taste history in real time, whether you’re wandering through the wooded slopes of Bois Brillant and Montguichet, following the gentle rise of Les Vinhots de Verdelot, or discovering the vineyard enclaves around Les Racines du Temple. Each plot has its own character and cadence, from the secluded charm of Le Clos Ferout and Clos de Nonville to the distinctive appeal of the Coteaux de Giverny, where the landscape feels intimately connected to the region’s artistic memory. Pair your tastings with the cultural depth that surrounds these estates: step into the awe of Abbaye de Royaumont, where monastic calm makes every sip feel slower and sweeter; explore the medieval village of Provins, and the innovative open-air art museum of the Jardin du Point du Jour; or take an offbeat detour through the old streets of Senlis and the hillside atmosphere of Montmorency. Here, the experience is not about spectacle—it’s about authenticity, surprise, and the pleasure of finding something genuinely beautiful before everyone else does.

ACCOMMODATIONS OF CHARM AND CHARACTER

We give special attention to the quality of the lodgings we choose, and offer a choice depending on budget. Relax and recline in cosy, well appointed surroundings, so that your stay away is every bit as comfortable as your weekend is exclusive. Fine dining, country bistros, and farm tables will delight the palate, providing both nourishment and leisurely indulgence. We favour restaurants that feature organic, locally sourced, seasonal produce and where possible, local wines.

ONCE THE LARGEST VINEYARD
REGION IN THE WORLD

Once the largest vineyard area in France, the vines of the Ile de France went into a steep decline in the 19th century, to the point of practically being forgotten. Isolated plots here and there around Paris have sustained the memory of this past greatness, but are known only to an informed coterie of impassioned wine lovers and completely ignored by the general public. But there is a renaissance in progress. In recent years the combined surface area of vines planted in the Paris region has tripled and as of May 2020, been awarded with the distinction of its own IGP label (indication géographique protégée or protected designation of origin). Today, the territory of the IGP Île-de-France has around forty professional vineyards, for a hundred hectares planted or being planted.
